This document is published in accordance with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, which requires publishing the rules and regulations, privacy policy, and terms of use for access to or use of https://smartwebdesk.com/ (the "Website"), including the related student portal (together, the "Platform").

The Platform is owned by SmartWebDesk, with its office at Plot 1, B S Vihar, Meenawala, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302034 (the "Platform Owner", "we", "us", "our").

Your use of the Platform and its services is governed by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms of Use") and by the policies linked below, which are part of these Terms. If you pay for a plan, the Refund and Cancellation Policy, Return Policy, and Shipping Policy also apply. By using the Platform, you contract with SmartWebDesk. Any extra or conflicting terms you propose are rejected and have no effect.

We may update these Terms of Use. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Please review this page from time to time. For these Terms, "you", "your", or "user" means any person who uses or buys a plan on the Platform, and any school, college, or institute on whose behalf you act.

ACCESSING, BROWSING, OR OTHERWISE USING THE PLATFORM INDICATES YOUR AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS OF USE. PLEASE READ THEM BEFORE PROCEEDING.

The services

SmartWebDesk provides digital services: online examinations, practice tests, class notes, and related student tools. We do not sell physical goods. A student can start 2 practice tests without paying. A started test counts, including one left unfinished. After those 2, more practice tests need an active paid plan. The plans are ₹199 for 3 months (90 days) and ₹399 for 6 months (180 days). The price shown at checkout, including any convenience fee displayed before you confirm, is the price you pay. Payment is through Paytm / UPI. A plan does not renew by itself. When the period ends, paid access stops. The 2 free practice tests are not restored.

Terms of use

  1. To access and use the Services, you agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information during and after registration. You are responsible for activity through your registered account.
  2. We do not warrant that information on the Platform, including AI tutoring output, is complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose. Exam results and learning content can contain errors. This does not limit a consumer right that Indian law does not allow us to waive.
  3. You use the Platform at your own discretion and should check that it meets your needs. Our total liability for a claim about the Services is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹500 if no fee was paid, except where Indian law does not allow that limit.
  4. The Platform, its design, layout, software, and branding are owned by SmartWebDesk or its licensors. You receive a limited right to use them under your plan. You do not receive ownership of that content. Content you upload stays yours, and you license us to host and process it so the Services can run.
  5. Unauthorised use of the Platform may lead to suspension and to action under these Terms and applicable law.
  6. You agree to pay the charges shown for the plan you choose. We do not add a hidden charge after you confirm.
  7. You agree not to use the Platform for any purpose that is unlawful or forbidden by these Terms or by Indian law that applies to you.
  8. The Platform may link to third-party websites. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies. We provide the links for convenience.
  9. When you start a payment for a plan, you enter a binding contract with SmartWebDesk for that digital plan, on the price and duration shown at checkout.
  10. If you are 18 or older, or you accept these Terms for an institution, you will indemnify SmartWebDesk and its personnel against third-party claims, penalties, and reasonable legal fees arising from your breach of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the other policies, from your misuse of the Services, or from your violation of law or of a third party's rights, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct. This indemnity is not asked of a student who is under 18. A parent, guardian, or institution that controls that student's account is responsible for the account instead.
  11. Neither party is liable for a failure or delay caused by a force majeure event, including a natural disaster, epidemic, war, government action, power or internet failure, or a payment-network outage, that is beyond that party's reasonable control.
  12. These Terms, and any dispute about them or their enforceability, are governed by the laws of India.
  13. Disputes are subject to the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan, except where you are a consumer and Indian law lets you file where you live. A written institution agreement may choose a different seat. Mandatory consumer protections cannot be waived.
